I collect only what I need. This page tells you what it is, why I need it, and who else sees it.

What I do not collect

filipnowak.dev does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. The only exception is the Meta pixel on rozgryzto.filipnowak.dev, described below, and it runs only if you agree to it. My Meta app, filipnowak.dev, manages only my own ads and my own Facebook Page. Other people cannot log in with it, and it does not collect data about people. From my ads, I see only totals, for example the number of clicks.

The guide and emails

If you sign up on rozgryzto.filipnowak.dev, I collect your email address and the dates you signed up and confirmed. If you reach the page from one of my ads, I also store the ad's label from the link you clicked (for example “dekoder”) with your address, so that I know which ad brings sign-ups. This is not a cookie: the label is part of the page address. The legal basis for this is my legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Giving your address is voluntary, but without it I cannot send you the guide or the emails. I use it to send you the guide and emails about what you can do with AI, including news about my paid material. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, for marketing emails, the consent that Polish electronic communications law requires. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by writing to me. Withdrawing consent does not affect what happened before. I send the emails through Brevo. Brevo checks whether emails arrive, whether you open them and whether you click links, and I see these statistics. I keep your address until you unsubscribe. After that it stays on the unsubscribed list, so that I do not email you again. I keep that list on the basis of my legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The Meta pixel on rozgryzto.filipnowak.dev

On rozgryzto.filipnowak.dev I ask whether you agree to the Meta pixel. The page loads the pixel only if you click „Zgadzam się” (I agree). It stores cookies in your browser (_fbp, and _fbc if you come from an ad) and sends Meta your IP address, browser data, the address of the page and the event, that is a visit or a sign-up. This tells me which ads bring sign-ups, and lets Meta show them to similar people. I do not send your email address to Meta. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law). Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd and I are jointly responsible for collecting this data on the page. Meta's Controller Addendum sets out how this joint responsibility works, and you can also exercise your rights over the pixel data directly with Meta. What Meta does with the data afterwards is described in Meta's privacy policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the „Ciasteczka” (cookies) link at the bottom of the page. The page then removes the pixel's cookies from your browser. Data sent before stays with Meta.

Events and messages

You sign up for my events on Luma. As the organizer, I see your name and email address, and I use them only to contact you about the event. If you send me an email, I have your email address and your message, and I use them only to reply. Cloudflare hosts my websites and keeps technical server logs for a short time, for example IP addresses. The legal basis is my legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): replying to you, running the event and keeping the websites secure. I keep messages while the matter is open and delete them afterwards.

Who else sees your data

Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) sends the emails and stores the list of addresses. Cloudflare hosts the websites and forwards email to my inbox. Google runs my inbox, where your replies arrive. Luma handles event sign-ups. Meta receives the pixel data if you agree to it. Brevo, Cloudflare, Google and Luma process the data on my instructions. Meta also uses the pixel data for its own purposes. Cloudflare, Google, Luma and Meta may process data in the USA, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Brevo keeps the data in the European Union. I do not sell your data, and apart from these companies I do not pass it to anyone.

Your rights and contact

I, Filip Nowak, ul. Św. Jana Pawła II 11, 89-100 Nakło nad Notecią, Poland, am responsible for this data. You can see, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, take a copy of it, and withdraw your consent. Write to hello@filipnowak.dev or rozgryzto@filipnowak.dev. The terms of the service (regulamin) are in Polish only, like the service itself. I will reply in 30 days or less. You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority (UODO).
